I just bought a ATI radeon HD 2400 series and it doesnt seem compatible for a game I just bought(enemy territory:quake wars). What videos cards do you recommend for these types of games(first person shooters)?

hello... im having a problem with my internet conection.. perhaps sum1 out there can help me... i just can surf the internet with both of my pc at the same time... however both computer are connected to each other well... only one pc can on line at a time... is there any setting that i need to know... by the way... im using 10/1oo switch... thanks.

I have a laptop with a 100 GB hdd (shows 90ish) and i am running XP Pro right now. i am wanting cut that partition (xp pro, NTFS, 90ish GB) into two parts, one xp and one vista. i have read around and i know that vista says that it needs at least a 20 GB hdd with 15 GB free.. but i was wondering what is the smallest possible size i can make the vista partition and have it still install and run smoothly (as smoothly as vista can)...can i go with like 16? i want to keep it super small cuz i do a lot of video editing on this laptop. thanks in advance

The desktop is a HP Pavilion a220n, as usual there were no warning signs. I have never had this happen, though I wonder if the hard drive crashed. If anyone has had a similar problem please share your experience, and how you fixed the problem.

If the hard drive has crashed, is it possible to boot from an external removable drive?

I am wondering what the general opinion is of whether or not adding more slower ram to my computer will outweight the fact that it is a slower speed. Currently I have 1gb (2 x 512) of PC3200 RAM in my computer. I just got two 512 sticks of PC2700 for free. If I add them in it will make the other RAM run at the slower speed, but with the addition of another gigabyte, that may outweigh the loss of speed. So basically, is one gb of PC 3200 better than 2gb of PC2700? What do you think?

It's an older comp: Pentium 4 w/ HT 2.8ghz, XP Pro, Nvidia X5900XT w/ 256 video card, SoundBlaster Audigy 2 sound card, 320gb hard drive. The motherboard can handle up to 4gb of RAM and does have the two open slots available.

This is driving me insane!!!!! Why the hell does this output a square of hashes? The first for loop produces one hash five times, which are printed one by one and followed by a line termination each time. Meanwhile the second for loop does the same, so why isn't the output two vertical lines of five hashes? Someone please explain this to me before I kill myself!!!
