It's a dual core 64 bit mobile processor that runs at 1.8 GHz. It will probably do anything you need it to do, including gaming (gaming depends a lot more on your graphics card then your CPU), and I would bet it is priced well making it a great value processor.

Don't bother with Intel. They're not really much better but they do cost quite a bit more. The actual chip design of an AMD dual core chip is superior to that of an Intel dual core chip. AMD also uses an on-chip memory controller which is much faster than the off-chip controller (aka the northbridge) Intel is still using. Intel has a much better, yet more expensive, manufacturing process to make up for their lack of good chip design, and do often come out a hair better in many benchmarks. These differences, regardless of who the benchmark prefers, are usually negligible to the user. For the price to performance comparison, AMD almost always wins hands down.

and processor are good for gaming but intel is better have better ratings check out this web page www.intel.com

Its a dualcore and mobile so should be fine, I wouldnt imagine this is designed for games though.
