7.0 is not compatable with my customers programs so I cant download their documents and print them. Swiftview is a program it is not compatable with.

I accidently met a magnet with my CRT
At the time it showed rainbow like colors

Now there is a dark and white patch around that area

How could I recover this.....?
will I have to go to vendor for warranty....?

Ok I want to get into web development. But I am totally confused which way I should i go php or asp.net.

PHP sounds easy because you use mysql and apache and that seems like full package.

Asp.net on other hand sounds confusing because you have to learn another .net langugage( i thought asp.net was a language) such c or visual basic and off course any database.

Can somebody please give me advice ..Thanks in advance

My keyboard suddenly stopped working?
My keyboard (ps/2) suddenly stopped to work. I had no issues with my computer. What I recall is the "shift" key got pressed for sometime then it said to do something with sticky keys which I am not sure what I did. I rebooted my computer and my keyboard wont work. I checked device manger which seems to be fine for keyboard, I did uninstall & reinstall of drivers, still its the same. I tried my friends keyboard that wont work either so its not the keyboard I guess. I got a new usb keyboard that is not working either, my usb mouse works fine with usb port and also ps/2 port when i use usb to ps2 adapter. The Num lock is lit on my keyboard but wont go off.

One of my friend told me motherboard is faulty

I am not sure what to do....CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP

I have a personal website.Sometimes I worry that people out there steal my stories or my pics ( I got some beautiful nature pics from my beloved village ).

Does anybody know how can I have a copyright and nobody can copy paste my pics ???

I WAS in the middle of writing a 30 page paper. When I decided I was done for the night. I thought it was autosaving- But I guess not? So when it asked me if I wanted to save, I think I might have clicked NO instead of YES! If there is any way to recover this file, I am in need! We get a thirty page paper every tuesday and it is due this friday! I know I know, save save save it next time. But right now I just need to know if there is anything I can do! Otherwise, I will pull an all nighter if I have no choice. Thank you for your help!

Is it just me or what--I found recently that the time it takes for an Amazon'com purchase to arrive has drastically increased. It used to be that it would take just a few days for the product to arrive. But I had to cancel 2 recent purchases since the estimated delivery time were 2-3 weeks. Do you have similar experience? Is it time to bolt amazon.com (maybe they care less now that their stock price has doubled in recent months too)?

Hi, my story:
As i was saving my Microsoft word... i think in between saving i turned off the power, i immediately returned it on... When i clicked the microsoft word file, as it starts to open i get an error messege saying: The document name or path is not valid. Try These suggestions: blah blah blah, i tried them and not surprising they dont work. A new file got created byside the Word document: ~WRD0217.tmp ... It is the same KB size as the original... I have a win98 (i kno i need to update) any suggestions?
When I click file > open > history all i get are "shortcut" links which lead my to the same damaged filed....
Thank for reading...

P.S. i have saved this file before and it has 5 days old, so is there sumthin i can do in DOS or something to retireve the last succesful file.

the windows 98 wont start normal but will go in to safe mode . can i download a start up disk on the xp computer hook the two together and istall the start up disk in to the 98 one as the floppy wont work or the cd so i cant use a start up disk will this work

i have 2 programs that are some how automatically reloading themselves after i reboot. I went to msconfig and selected selective startup then went to startup tab and unchecked some programs that i didn't want to load during start-up. Well somehow they are being checked again and i can't seem to get them to stay unchecked and they keep loading when i don't want them to is there a way to fix this so they won't load on startup. through the registry perhaps?

i have a .iso dvd file. i tried lots of different programs but they always say its too big and my cd is too small (the file is 4.36GB) so is there a program that can split the file in half so i can put it in 2 discs????
