Is it just me or what--I found recently that the time it takes for an Amazon'com purchase to arrive has drastically increased. It used to be that it would take just a few days for the product to arrive. But I had to cancel 2 recent purchases since the estimated delivery time were 2-3 weeks. Do you have similar experience? Is it time to bolt amazon.com (maybe they care less now that their stock price has doubled in recent months too)?

Depends what you order.
We ordered 1 book, got an email in 24 hrs to advise it had shipped (just need to await the international delivery for it)

Ordered another via Amazon.co.uk and got despatchemail in 18 hrs.

Maybe you just ordered something they were awaiting stock on.
