My passwords come up on my computer automatically when i get to the sign in site. Is there some sort of setting on my fire fox where i can turn that off?

I'm writing a paper, and I need to put a footer in with the page numbers. I've already inserted the footer, and added the page numbers. However, I need the page numbers to start on page 2. How do I get Word to only make the page number visible on pages 2 and beyond? I need to get rid of the page number on page 1. How do I do that?

I just put a new almost top of the line soundblaster sound card into my computer to replace the onboard sound but now whenever i have itunes playing and a computer game on at the same time my sound "scratches" horriblly. It didn't do it with the onboard sound. I don't think its a problem with the card itself since it only does it when the two different programs are open.

Normally people would extened their hard drive life
but I on the other hand was challenged to shorten the hard drive's life as much as possible with only softwares and s
still make the hard drive very useful.
P.s it's a 10gb internal hard drive (i'm not trying this with anything expensive)

My sisters computer got a virus ,apparently it was sent from me!!! But my computer is fine. & i havent sent her anything in the past 2weeks either.My Question is... i while back my computer started to not work well at all.. wouldnt even shut off sometimes. i figure out i had some viruses or somethin so i took one of my two RAM cards out. i had 1gb of RAM now i only have the 556 i think. the computer works fine now that the one card is out. i think that means the problem is in that card? is there anyway to fix it myself because the computer is starting to fill up with stuff and getting slower i need that extra RAm back? what can i do.. i dont have a lot of money so a computer tech is porbably out of the question but if i have to hey. thanks

I ran a virus scan on my computer. Can you interpret these results?:

I don't understand "notified". I'm guessing this means that it was not deleted, it is just notifying me that it is there.

1)How come it did not eliminate it? It eliminated the spyware that it detected.

2)How do I eliminate this program?
There are actually two of them that showed up on the scan and they're identical.

check it, i rebooted my computer and since my rebooting everything was free from virus and stuff...i tried installing my ipod, my cam, my fon all of them( before i rebooted it all installed with out cds) and now when i plug my ipod in it says on the bottom right hand corner that its an ipod so i try installing it, its searching and it has a yellow question mark and after it says cannot install this hardware..

can anyone help me plza
