I ran a virus scan on my computer. Can you interpret these results?:

Event: Tracking program 'Application/FunWeb' detected

Notified by: On-demand antivirus scan

Location: C:\Documents and Settings\Alejandro

Result: Notified
******************************...

I don't understand "notified". I'm guessing this means that it was not deleted, it is just notifying me that it is there.

1)How come it did not eliminate it? It eliminated the spyware that it detected.

2)How do I eliminate this program?
There are actually two of them that showed up on the scan and they're identical.

"Notification" means that the program has told you the virus is there. But it has not (and will not) remove it. You have to pay money for the full version of the program before it will remove the virus.

Go to http://download.com and search for the free version of AVG. (There is both a paid and a free version - get the free). Install and run it and it will remove the virus for you.
