could someone please tell me what this is in English please.

Recently I bought a Latitude D600 Dell, standard off the shelf with XP. Everyone in my house has no problems with the internet, we maintain about 2 computers on server all the time. including my own. When I download a movie, song, or program file (even if its like a youtube movie, that im not even downloading to the computer) the net shuts off quickly and then turns right back on. Usually this just restarts the download from where it was and its not a huge problem. But I have been trying to download flash and java, things to get my computer running well and half way into it, it fails and I have to start over.

Someone once said that it would be interference on the line - but no other computer has this problem, and its not any other time but downloads. So it has to be something elce. Anything I can check or settings I could tweak? Do computers have a "cap" on incoming data that would knock the net off?

My son is trying to do a learning cd rom (reader rabbit) and ever couple seconds I keep getting a pop up from IE & it interrupts his cd rom. It keeps saying "IE is not currently your default browser. Would you like to make it your default?" I have to click no & then close the popup behind it! Then I have to bring back up the learning cd. How can I fix this?

Something is worng with my copy and paste.

When I try to copy a formula from one cell and apply it to another it doesn't work. I get the same number from the original cell instead of the corresponding sum. I don't know what the problem is. Also I've tried doing it by special paste too.

(I hope I explained this clear enough for you)

I'm looking for a service provider so I canbuild a website.
I'm on freehostia.com and it says 2 Domains and 10 subdomains. what does that mean? I'm thinking domain means www.(name I want).(com, net etc) and subdomain means www.(name I want).com/(name) but I'm thinking you can create a lot more pages with 250MB storage space.

I ran Cws shredder and It found CWS.Msconfig. So I remove it then it reappers so I remove it again but it wont stay gone. Everytime I reboot my computer its there sometimes even when I dont reboot its there even after I just removed it. Please somebody help. Its the only thing that Cws shredder ever detects.

I have SBC yahoo/AT&T DSL, but everytime it rains, it dies for sometimes up to a week. The Techs down there are either so stupid they have no idea, or just stumped. I've had it for about 9 months, they've changed my modem 3 times and said "I have no idea" about a million. I'm having a tech come in again today, but I'm not expecting much. They've actually said they've exhausted all their resources and offered to transfer me to someone else (for a lovely surcharge -_-;;) Anyone have any idea what's going on or what to do?
