For modern Mac OS I've read it has been hacked to run on PC's but this is not legal.
To run Mac software of old (like 10+ years ago) you can use emulators, but I have no experience with Mac based ones.
If you're interested in getting started with Mac you might wanna try the Mac Mini - it's small no so expensive, part of that is b/c you use your current keyboard/mouse and monitor

While the new MACs are able to run Winodws, the PC is not able to run the MAC OS. It is designed to only work on MACs. This is one of the reasons that the MAC is more stable then the PC. Apple is able to control what kind of computer and hardware you are running it on. While Windows has to work on everything from a 386 to a duo core Pentium, with hundreds of different system boards, memory chips, audio and video cards, etc.
However, the MAC OS is based on the Lynex operating system. Running it is as close as you can get to the MAC operating system on a PC.

No, you can't install Mac OS X from scratch. The only way to do it is to use a hack, which is illegal and may not work at all. Just get a Mac.

Mac is a different computer not a os. Mac is from Apple Pc is either windows or linux.
You can put windows on a mac but you can't put mac on windows. Kinda like you can put Chrysler wheels on a Ford but you can't put Ford wheels on a Chrysler.

You can only run mac on a computer which is fairly new and has the intel duel core processor, it would be cheaper to buy an apple computer or laptop.
