-when I checked for a free internet radio station on google it gave me a list of all the radio stations, even though they were in fact not free.,why.?

Silly question. Search for anything that is free and you will get the same results

Google just provides you with items that match your search expression. You still have to do the leg work to find what you want - google mainly narrows the field for you.

there are dozens of radio stations all genre available free as google gadgets and yahoo widgets.
