I'm looking for a service provider so I canbuild a website.
I'm on freehostia.com and it says 2 Domains and 10 subdomains. what does that mean? I'm thinking domain means www.(name I want).(com, net etc) and subdomain means www.(name I want).com/(name) but I'm thinking you can create a lot more pages with 250MB storage space.
Also what do that mean by
3 POP3 accounts

subdomain would be like name.somenameiwant.com or name2.somenameiwant.com
a POP 3 account a basically an email account, you could get 3 email accounts which you could setup in outlook or whatever pop3 mail client you use.
aslias is an alias to a mailbox just like a person may have an alias name. if you have an email of master@domain.com you could have 3 alias such as dude1@domain.com, dude2@doman.com & dude3@domain.com all basically pointed to the mailbox master@domain.com
