Depends on many things,

How long the song is
Encoding of the MP3 file (96kbs, 128kbs, 320 kbs) each take differing amounts of space.

Mose MP3 players quote 1000 songs for a 2GB model

Well... it depends on the length of the song and the quality of the recording, but i would say about 800-1000 songs.

It depends on the properties of the songs, but if they were to average 3.5 megabytes then you could download about 1428 songs, to use up 5 gigabytes.

Depends on the quality of the songs. If they are good quality files, each averaging about 5MB, then probably about 1000 songs.

Do not download much songs if not your space will be small and the system will become slow.
Also depends on the size of the song (eg. 23mb).

I use a 110gb laptop and have only 231.
