My sisters computer got a virus ,apparently it was sent from me!!! But my computer is fine. & i havent sent her anything in the past 2weeks either.My Question is... Was it possible for my computer to send her a virus even though my computer is fine & as i said "havent sent her anything in a while' ! im hoping it wasnt me!!lol

yes i use pc-cillion & it scanes my computer everyday ,No other of my contacts have gotten a virus...Anyhow how did she think it came from me?

Nope it wasn't you if you've checked your comptuer. Have her get avast or AVG.

Some viruses and worms attack by going into someones e-mails and then send the worm or virus to all of the people in your address book.

Remember to update your firewall and antivirus program; things that EVERY dsl and cable user should have.

You can go to www.pcpitstop.com and also do a free scan to check what is up with your computer. It will show you the files and you do a search for the files and erase them.

Young people are EXTREMELY naive about their identity like Myspace, and virus' and worms. Good luck.

are you sure you don't have a virus? It's possible that your computer has one and its function is to send out the virus to all in your address book. This is how it spreads itself.

I would clean both computers...If you have a trojan/virus...yes it could send to her....

Yes,if you have a virus it may be sending out e-mails to your address book with viruses in them. Then again, someone with your name in their address book may be sending out viruses with your name on them.

Best thing I can recommed is to update your antivirus software and run a virus scan.
