my computer says cannot install hardware device?

Question

check it, i rebooted my computer and since my rebooting everything was free from virus and stuff...i tried installing my ipod, my cam, my fon all of them( before i rebooted it all installed with out cds) and now when i plug my ipod in it says on the bottom right hand corner that its an ipod so i try installing it, its searching and it has a yellow question mark and after it says cannot install this hardware..

can anyone help me plza

Try reinstalling the drivers BUT this time with all startups disabled. Click start, click Run, type msconfig, ok. Select Startup tab, disable all. You can enable them later in this same window.
