I want a laptop. My daughter likes the new dell inspirons, i think because they are colorful. does anyone know they are good?

How do these two differ except obviously for the speed? I'm planning to install a game that requires 3.0GHz processor speed but I'm only running a 1.6. Will my system be able to support the game's demands since I'm running a dual-core?
Help please??

I know my question might sound dumb, I'm sorry but I don't know that much about computers..

i dont think my parents trust me. i really want myspace
but they think i will talk to random people. they never
even gave me a chance! how do i get them to trust that i wont
talk to strangers? my brother got something like myspace
when he was 14. and im 13. my brother is much

This is a follow up to one of my previous questions about serial cables and programming. I need help now with the best and safest (for the computer, especially) way to set up my circuit. Ok, basicly, 10V would be coming through the RTS. I would cut it down with a resistor and then put in a diode to protect the computer. then I would have this wire lead to a transistor which would, when on, power up a small motor. Obviously this is incomplete. Im not going to go into any more detail so as to get completely new and improved ideas from you. THANKS A LOT!

I have a small business and trying to do everything myself without spending anymore money. I have a small budget. I need to be able to email my information to business contacts, and make it eye catching. I don't need any animations, jus to be able to show my price list and a product picture.

Is there a place to get Free help or some free software download. Is this something that is made with HTML or something else? How can I do this myself? Where do I start?

My computer got wrecked during a thunderstorm the other day so I took the hard drive out and hooked it up to another one as the slave drive so I could get my files off of it, but I don't know how to access it. Can someone tell me step by step how to find the files on the slave drive?

I took the Windows Vista, instead of a rebate. I was supposed to get it in April, or May 2007. It is now August. I would say they are a little late. I have faxed letters to them, e-mailed them over and over. I tried calling every #, I could find, only to have to leave messages, to which they never return. Hi, I'm wanting to get LOTS of music off the net, for a small fee. The site has to have good access 24 hours a day, and millions of tunes. I don't really want to pay for each track as I'll probably be getting 1000s, just pay a monthly fee. Alright, I have a Linksys wireless B router, and i have a internet network with my desktop. it works perfectly. but with my laptop, it connects with the right network key and all, but i keep getting Limited or No Connectivity.

Ive tryed repair, it wont fix when it trys to renew the IP address. i read somewhere that the first three numbers if they are like.. 169 or something, theres a problem with it. ive tryed many times. could someone give stepbystep instructions or something?

i just need to know how to fix it, as i need the wireless ASAP.
