When I try playing some file in Media player or Real player, I hear only sound, can't see the images. Media player tries to search for codecs but can't find. Please help me to solve my problem.

It wil be easier for u to use VLC media player or Media Player classic as these can play any video format put accross them without t need to install the needed codecs

Download VLC player and the KLite codec pack it will then play absolutely any video/audio file you have ever come across.

Google for a program called "Gspot" It will tell you what codecs you need for a video.

get G-SPOT - it will help u tell which codec u need
