I want to sign up for a domain name. I know how to run a website-- make layout, code them, etc. I've had a couple very popular ones in the past. Now I want to dedicate myself to a new website and I want to sign up for a domain name. Does this cost money? If so, how does it all work? (making and coding pages, etc.) I usually use freewebs when starting up. Does it work the same way as that basically-- except with a .com/.net name? Please tell me everything I need to know.

Btw- what is the difference between the .com, .net names? I know the difference between like .tv or .biz but which one is the best to go with?

I'm an accountant and I use Excel spreadsheest quite a bit to reconcile accounts. I have a colum of number then to get the sum I put in the formula =Sum(and the colums in here) and it giving me a total thats 1- 2 cents off (not each time but ever 10 or so documents). My co worker and fellow accountant experiencing the same problem on her computer. The program is on our individual computer so what is the problem and is there a patch to fix it?

I need a HTML code for comments box to be created . Also, I need the comments to be submitted to an email address.
This table should be:525px wide, Cell Pad: 0, Cell Space: 2, Align: Default . If you can not get the size any comment space box HTML code will due.

I've just recieved a payment of $750 dollars through paypal but it won't let me accept the payment until I upgrade to a premier account where they take 3% of everything I make. Is there any way to accept the payment without upgrading to a premier account?

My buddy said that if I added my bank account/SSN/something like that to my account it would work but I'm not sure.

Hi,

When i use WHOIS i get the registrar, but how do i get to know who actually registered the domain (who is the "real" owner), my friend registered a while ago the domain i want to be sure it was not taken by anyone else (know that he is still the owner) .

Is there a way to find this ?

am able to pick up and access www thro' unsecured wireless networks in my neighborhood. am wondering if the owners can be able to monitor my activities while am logged onto their networks? my concern is mostly when i transmit email passwords and the like? can they pick out my passwords? if so how can i encript those transmissions?

Awhile later, the words...reboot, insert disc and press enter, appeared in the upper left corner of the monitor screen. I had no idea what to do so I shut everythg down overnight. I am setting up a new blog, and have posted a few articles on various subjects. The only problem is that I am not sure that my links work between pages or if the links leading our of my site work.
