Computer Glitch...can you help? After placing my computer on standby, the screen went blank.?

Question

Awhile later, the words...reboot, insert disc and press enter, appeared in the upper left corner of the monitor screen. I had no idea what to do so I shut everythg down overnight. This morning, everything is fine! If this happens again and I still want to use the computer for awhile, what do I do? Help!

if you still have the gfx driver installer...
try cleaning out the old display driver before installing the new one
get driver cleaner pro (there is a free version somewhere)
use it then reinstall the new display driver
