Various sites (who think they have some 'clever' pages) try various methods .. one is to create all pages 'on the fly' using XML .. another is to pre-render elements as type = image at the host ... yet another is to 'obscure' the code by sending megabytes of rendering per page (with a massive number of tiny components, many 'invisible' or overwriting one-another, the 'real' components are hard to discover ) ...

.. all this does is make your pages hard (if not impossible) to maintain .. and wind up users of non-MSIE browsers (as dynamic text fails to display, pre-rendered images are truncated and 'invisible' elements become visible ..)

Quite simply...no. If your browser can see the HTML, then so can anyone else. All you can really do is make it difficult to read, by removing white space etc. You can disable right-clicking, to prevent the *simple* View Source, but there are other equally simple methods available that are difficult to block (looking in the cache folder for one!)

Unless you are doing something a bit dodgy...why would you want to. Trust me, you wont have any special way to code that hasn't already been done and the layout can be duplicated by any skilled graphic artist anyway....
