Can I put a password on a file so people can't exchange it?

Is there any way i can put a password on a file so if I give it to another person they will not be able to pass it on again without the password that I know. Sorry if it is a bit confusing. Thankyou for your time.

No, anyone who knows or finds the password will be able to access the data.

yes. right click ya file and go to (sharing and security) there you can switch sharing off,so only you can get in to it!!!!
