I need to create a network drive that I link to the my computer folder on the desktop. I need this network drive so that I can save all of my picture and video projects. Is there any way to do this? Thanks again.

I have a intel core duo macbook 60gb 512mb still under the warrentey (because i bought it refurbished from apple) and will i void the warrenty if i put 2 gb of memorey and 160gb hard drive in it???

I have trasnfer my all photos from yahoo to flickr,so this is totally new for me.When ever i send a e-mail to flickr,it's not working.

I have a Sony Vaio Lap top computer. When i was doing the system restore, I turned the computer off by accident without finishing the system restore. When I turned back on there is a message that says I am missing one file. It won't let me do anything else. It just keeps doing like is going to start , but then the screen flicks and it goes back to do the same over and over.
I don't want to do the back up cd to put the computer back to the factory settings, because then it will erase all my documents.
What should I do?

I set up a VPN on my Server at work and I can successfully connect to it from home. I only need the VPN to connect to the domain and access certain files. However, while I'm 'surfing' the Internet, while the VPN is still connected, is that traffic passing through the VPN or my regular Internet connection? I don't want to unnecessarily eat up bandwidth on my server.

I bought a second dell xps computer for another room, so my husband I can each have our own. The belkin wireless adapter is supposed to work up to 400 feet away. This one is only 10 ft. away. I called tech. support and they were no help at all. Has anyone else out there had trouble or luck with wireless adapters and if so, what did they do? are some better than others? and isn't that the point of wireless, so you can be in another room with your computer. I am very frustrated with this.

A computer or laptop with Core 2 Duo processors or Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core... are they not being used to their full potential without a 64bit Operating System? Like xp 64bit or vista 64bit.

If so why?

I read that a pentium duo at 1.8 gig or 2.3 gig is faster than a dual core pentium d 3 gig as it has two processors, this means that the 1.8 or 2.3 is double giving 3.6 speeed and 4.6 speeed respectably.

This is not logical to me unless each task that is running is equally split between the two processors on the 1.8 and 2.3 gig duo. The 3gig dual core is always running every process at 3 gig so prove to me that the lower speeds are better.

okay so my laptop has a virus due to expired anti virus software so now EVERY TIME i try to download a new anti virus program my computer shuts down and retstarts EVERY TIME! no matter if i try to RUN the anti virus program or SAVE it it shuts down then after i attempt many times to download an anti virus the virus makes it so i cannot even get on the internet at all!!! nuthin wrong with my connection it just wont connect. I have a Gateway W730-K8X windows XP and system retsore doesnt work should i try to retsore it in safe mode???? or do I have to reformat my computer and if i do i dont have the disk for it can i use my friends disk to reformat or do u have to use the disk ur computer came with??? also is there any other ways to get rid of the virus?? thanks

Hi, ive just tried to link my xbox 360, with the internet, using a cable not wireless. But it wont work, it says that the ip address is fine, but i need to get the correct DNS code/number (not sure exactly what it is) So could anyone tell me where and how i can get it please. THANKS

Right now I have a Dell Dimension 2400 with okay RAM and okay processor the only thing completely horrible about it is the video card. Are the any PCI video cards that would run WoW on lowest graphics settings. I used to play WoW with the lowest settings until BC came out and my video card won't work with WoW anymore.

I have my wired internet connection and my neighbor has a wireless one which I can connect to. I was wondering can I use both connections at once to combine them and make one faster connection. Im connected to both right now as I type but dont know how to configure this if possible. For references we both have the same ISP and same download and upload speeds.
