It's MacBook Pro, not "Plus". The MacBooks are slightly lower end, come with plastic cases and 13.4 inch screens and integrated graphics.
The MacBook Pro's come with slightly faster processors, have aluminum cases, backlit keyboards and can be had in 15.4 and 17-inch screens, come with discrete graphics cards and are significantly more expensive.
They both use the same operating system...OS X.

its macbook pro not plus. the macbook pro has a dedicated video card to play games and video editing/encoding. the macbook does not which u would be able to play games on it or do high end video editing. if u dont care about video editing or gaming get the macbook, it almost has the same specs as the mbp but w/o a dedicated graphics card.
