another thing about the cost is that T1 to T3 connections are only available for business accounts. they are not available for consumer accounts

Looking for a lot of bandwidth are we? T3 speeds range from 6-30 Mbps. The infrastructure just on your end to download at that speed is quite costly. With T1 prices running 600-800/ month - who knows what T3 prices would cost.
You are talking fiber optic all the way - even in your house - with equipment to mange that kind of speed - no way is this practical except for schools, businesses, etc.

lol there is no such thing as an affordable t3 connection. also u have to be in a populated place to even get it. t3 is like $500-1000 a month

You can get quotes online. Unless you have a large corporate office that depends upon the internet for its very survival, just get broadband.
But at any rate, it depends on how close you are to the ISP; the farther away you are the more expensive it is.
