i used to receive pop ups whe i received an email. i do not any more. how can i get them back.i use at&t yahoo internet and emails sbc global.net

How can i find out if someone has sceretly opened another account useing an alternate e-mail adress? others are useing my computer, I know their user names and passwords, but when i open the cookie files they are showing that no sites have been visited, except the same five that was there days ago. i know that it is possible to have another account under a different e-mail adress, and the files will only show up under the new account files. there has to be another secret account, nothing has changed in the cookie files in days, how can i find out if there is another account, and if so; how do i access it? By the way this computer is mine, i have the master password to lock, and unlock everything dont know if that is helpful.

Im looking for free program that can help me create a login/registration web page. I would like for it to help me gather the infomation and create a database so the users who register can login to the "private" parts of the web site. Thanks for the help.

I am attending school online and only need the laptop so that when riding the bus, or at lunchtime at my job, I can work on my classwork. I dont need bells and whistles, and I am going to purchase an ethernet card from T-mobile, to use to access the internet. I do not want "deals" that include signing up with Vonage, or any other company. Either online or in town stores are acceptable (I am in HOuston, Astrodome area) Thanks, in advance!

running windows xp and since Windows Live and Yahoo merged, I have NEVER had so much Trouble,..I have contacted Yahoo,,over and over to the point where I am SICK of YAHOO,.. they seem to be more concerned about the quality of their " RESPONSE " then giving you any answers about the original question,,...I have deleted and reinstalled so many times,,, and with no results,,!! Yahoo continues to " BLOW ME OFF ",, saying its location , traffic to that one city, jammed area hubs,, check my computer for this, and that,, ( I have NO other audio or Video Problems with any other of my contacts,, and the other party experiences the same problems,, Web cam freezing or picture turning black,, and static snow like hiss so bad and so often the I cant hear the other party,.. I use to like Yahoo,,, now,,, in two words,,, " THEY SUCK "..sorry Yahoo,,, but you DO !! and apparently you dont care...because you have done NOTHING to correct this problem....!!!!!!! Dump Beta,8.0 .. IT SUCKS TOO !!

i bought a network card as my motherboard is quite old so it did not have the network interface. I have connected my wirelss router to it and installed the drivers for the Network Adapter Card. When i try to install my wireless modem from the AOL support CD...it says something like "error...cannot contact router"....connections are perfectly fine.

I dont know if this helps but my network card is Netgear and 32-bit....please help

Can somebody please define "Virus and Spyware", I've been using AVG (Grisoft) for a year now and it's picked up on one Trojan..I also have The Spyware Doctor (Pc Tools) which finds infections everyday near enough..if i don't scan frequently with spyware doctor my pc "hangs" or slows down considerably making browsing a HUGE headache. Why doesn't "The Spyware Doctor" alert me when there's a problem? It deletes cookies automatically but then when i scan, the results that it's found are "more cookies", "known bad sites..suspicious internet files" oh and 1 "trogan". I downloaded the latest version of "Spy Dr" and updated it which caused more hair pulling. It blocked every site that i wanted to view,,even my homepage, I've sorted that out now but it's really annoying me now why it doesn't alert me, My subscription runs out in a couple of months.. Any suggestions? Please!

My kids keep scratching the movies I buy and I would like to make a working copy so I have the original as a back up. I just got my computer back from the repair shop. They replaced the hard drive. Now when I leave the computer idle it will log me out of my email and messenger. How do I get it to stay on the screen I leave it on and not log me out of my email?
