If your computer settings is set to NOT ALLOW cookies, the login process won't auto login.
I am not sure what might be the problem. But could you try one thing. Go to control panel >Internet Options>click on Privacy tab>if not already set the scale to accept all cookies.
This may be done already but there is a difference in "cookies" actually, there are first party and third party. If the settings are not set properly you might have the problem that is occurring right now, it will log you out of your email or your messenger.
If by any chance you are actually using Yahoo Messenger and Yahoo Mail, try to check on the settings by clicking on My Account>verify password for security>click on edit under Member Information and set prompt for password Everyday. In this way you won't be asked to log-in every hour or everytime computer becomes idle.
I hope this helps. Goodluck!

Go to Start Menu --> Control Panel --> Power Management. Here, you will have the option for entering suspend monde, and for logging out.

If your computer is not working properly when it is switched on, there is a hardware problem. Most of these problems can be solved by just opening up the computer and removing the dust. Detailed instructions at http://tinyurl.com/yd34oj

You can simply change the power settings on your computer. If you are a window user, you can simply go to control panel ---> system---> Power output, and change the settings to "always on".
good luck,
