how long does it take to connect to emule?

i am soooo confused. i downloaded ok. i have no idea what to do next. sumbody........help me!!!

Emule usually is initialized by the website that you want to download stuff from. This means that there is already a file on a website that you want to download, and it requires emule to download it for you. Thus,all you have to do is to click on this file, it will then initialize emule and begin the download.
