I just started a new job and they do not have a there servers hard drive mirrored. they only have 1 350gb hard drive. how can i mirror that drive.

do i need a raid card?- can it be done without a raid card.

I was wondering if doing this would affect my phone line. I am paranoid about someone tapping into my phone line & was wondering if I could affect my phone line by doing this so that their connection was lost (if anyone is, though like I said I am probably just paranoid). Please help.

If I have to close an email account and sign up with a new one (new service)...aside from letting people in my address book know ...what happens to people I only am in contact with once a year. Where does the email go if they send me one to my closed account? Is there anyway to forward a closed account to my new account??

My PC currently has 512mb (2x256mb) of RAM. I'm buying 2gb (2x1gb) to install. I had someone tell me that I should remove my 512mb and just run the 2gb because the 512mb won't help my performance and may even hinder it. Is this true?

I have reinstalled my Windows 98 SE after formatting it. I am not able to build LAN among my PCs as I am not finding Network Neighbourhood on my Destop. Further my other PCs are having Window XPSP2, and am finding difference in creating LAN in it. Please help me creating LAN.

I have a BT router. We both have laptops with wireless cards. He is moving next door, and wants to continue using the internet from my connection, but I am not sure that I trust him to pay half.
I have told him to get his own internet supply, which will be BT (same as mine).
If he does, will this affect my internet speed, or will it be better to let him continue using my connection?

I need a solution. It like when i on my comp, it will appear a black screen for 10 minutes and then there will be a status bar appear telling me how many % complete in grey block and black background. and there's nothing, no title or anything but only the grey blocks (like hibernating). At first i thought something in my system 32 file is missing which happened 2 times already but it's not...Pls Help Me......

My question is, I am not able to get into my internet options
when I pull down the tools menu and click on internet options
it trys to appear and then disappears, same thing from the start
button. I disabled the yahoo pop up blocker but it still doesn't work
