Is there any way to see if someone has been using my wi-fi signal to get online? I know you can open the router status screen and see who is currently connected but is there a way to track and log this when I'm not watching? And in a related question: What about when I go online as a guest on someone else's wi-fi network like at hotels and coffee shops. Can they monitor what I am doing?

I live in a suburb of Dallas and was using my boyfriend's computer last night. I was typing something beginning with "D" and the auto save feature brought up "dallas sex" and other strange searches in the Dallas area. Of course I flipped out, but my boyfriend is saying if you ever visit a porn site stuff like that can somehow magically appear as a previous search. I know pop-ups and viruses can infiltrate your computer, but I don't really believe it affects your auto save searches. However, I'm not very tech savvy and find it hard to believe he would search for that sort of stuff, especially so vague and on Yahoo. Does this really happen or is he full of it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Windows 98 and Excell 2000 allowed me to do that. Also the Tab key would take me to the next column. With XP and Excell 2003, Tab takes me across the window. I cannot find anywhere in the program where I can change that function of the buttons. Please help. I do a lot of financial reports in Excell 2003. Using the arrow keys instead is cumbersome.

Okay, yesterday, all of a sudden, my computer had a hard time accessing some of the programs and files i had recently saved a couple hours earlier. I would click on teh programs to open and the system would freeze. The only hting i could do to undo the freeze was restart the computer. I checkd the event viewer and error code 7 with a "bad block" message was shown. I'm thinking it is the early to middle onset of disk failure. Any ideas? Also, if it is disk failure, I have a couple things on there that i want to keep. They are quite important to me... not anyone else but to me. Is there anyway I can keep these files? Is there anyway i can save them to a disc or floppy and move them oer to another drive later on???

The files are all JPG, but when it opens in explorer the file names appear, but no preview or thumb nail appears, and then the whole thing hangs when I click on any file name.

Dear friends,

i have configured my home web server with XAMPP (apache+php+mysql bundle)

and i 've got the dynamic DNS from www.no-ip.com.

all configuration i 've done is accurate,
also i've opened port 80 for incoming connections in ASDL router configuration.

But there is a problem that when ever i try to open my webpage given by no-ip.com ,
my dsl configuration page opens.

I've searched through the internet to resolve the problem, and i found that it might be due to option Remote Web Administration in Advanced >> Advanced Security tab in configuration page of my dsl router.
So, i checked for this, and i found that the option is off.

But still i m having the same problem that whn ever i try to open my home page, my dsl configuration page appears in the browser.

I m too sick of that.

Please help, if any one knows about it.

Any help will be appreciating.
