ok so my mom put a password on my computer i know what it is but its anoying right in the beging before itt starts up and everything it says "please enter your system password" does anyone know how to change it or get rid of it

I have an XP reinstallation disk and want to make a copy (in case I lose/break the original). I tried just copying the content to my hard drive then burning it to a CD, but when I restart, the system doesn't prompt me to startup from the CD drive.

Any Ideas?
