I BELIEVE ONLY ADMINISTRATORS HAVE THAT SORT OF ACCESS. THEREFORE DENYING YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE PASSWORDS OR THEIR CONTENT.

Take out the lithium battery inside the computer and put it back in after 30 seconds have gone by. This will reset the BIOS and clear the password.

if you know the password you can easily change it....just go to the either 'control panel' or 'system' and follow your computers links to changing your password...better tell your mom though or she'll change it right back...infact why not be honest with her and tell her its a pain...honesty goes a long way towards earning trust and if you talk to her about it she may realize you are mature enough to trust and remove the password altogether.

Your mother did that for a reason. Trying to find a way around it is only going to annoy her. Think about the consequences of your stupid actions before stupidly going ahead with them.

If you want the password, ask her.

You need administrator rights to the computer in order to change it.
If you have that, you can go into Control Panel and access User Accounts.
I'm telling your mom.

leave it as it is.
you know the password.

From setup you can change it,
but by accidentally you may change the other things there.
Then you may not open the computer.
You may loose everything in the computer.
