I want to download MP3's legally, but is there a site where you can download an MP3 and it's yours...like you don't have to pay that "to go" fee to transport it to your MP3 player? Basically, is there like a Limewire where I can pay for the songs?

Hi-For the last month, everytime I try to go on the internet at home (dial-up), it starts out connecting normally, but after one minute my connection speed drops to nothing. No pages will load then.

I have windows XP and have run virus scans, as well as spyware scans with Spybot and AdAware. They do not find anything.

It seems like there is a program on my computer that hogs up all of my internet connection, although I cannot find it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find this program and get rid of it?

Any tips will be helpful. I am ready to pull out my hair!!!!

If i know a name on one of thousands of pages in a particular site, how can i search for it? Can google be of help? That name does not appear in the link of that website, But can only be read once the page is loaded. Think & tell me.

HI, I'm currently researching a concept for a Q&A website such as this one.. obviously I don't want to come up with a yahoo/google copy. Since you all are users of this site I am wondering what, in your opinion, could be improved or added to a website such as this one?
I can imagine enhancing the community feeling could be one point, and what do you think about the point system? or do you prefer a payment system such as google's? Anyway be Open and free about it.. iI'm in research and brainstorming fase and open for all crazy ideas :)

my pc keeps on hanging up everytime i turn it off. i follow the right way of turning off and i get the 'windows is shutting down' message but when i come in the following day, the message is still on my screen. does this mean there's a virus or information overload in my system?

My cable modem is on the 2nd floor and I have 3 computers on the 2rd, 1 computer on the 1st and 1 computer in the basement.
I currently have a 4 port router and one computer doesnt have internet access.
The setup I want is all the computers online without having to relocate the modem and the ability to have lan parties(that are online too) in the basement while having all the other computers online too.
modem+router --> 4 PCs + basement PC that can have more PC's connected.

What do I need to do this?

I have gone wireless and bought a USB wireless adapter, I have only had it for a week and at first it worked fine. We switched the laptop off and on with the usb still attached and it has slowly gone down hill and now the laptop doesn't even recognise it if you replug it in nor does the light light up. Have I broken it or do you think that this is a commen problem?
