Yes, the Philadelphia project is a myth, the USS Eldridge ship in the 1930's was wired with a large electromagnetic field, they were trying to render the battleship invisible to radar, however when they fired up the the power, the ship vanished from site in a green haze. When the ship returned, the crew were insane and some were imbedded in the hull of the ship. Many hypothesize that the ship ripped a hole in space time and screwed with these sailors brains. Pretty wild stuff if true. Also check out the Montauk Project

I think Albert Einstein was involved in the experiment to De-Gauss a ship, That is to generate an electrical field round it to get rid of all the built- up electricity and it reportedly 'disappeared' and re-appeared somewhere else! The navy denied it of cause, but that is the rumour. True or not? Who knows?
