how to open chd file?

its a game caslled killer instinct it says to copy it to a mame file in my c drive but i do not see the file is there a program i can use to open this kind of file i really would apppreciate thank you all

1) Okay 1st do you have the mame program?

Yes go to question 2
No download it here http://mameplus.emu-france.com/download/mameplus_bin_gcc-0.109-20060926.7z
After you install MAME plus goto question two.

2) Is your CHD file unziped in a folder named the same as the CHD file? (example APPLE.chd Make a folder name it APPLE and place the APPLE.chd file in it.) Place that folder in the mame folder in the rom folder. (Example C:/mame/roms/apple/apple.chd)

3) You need the roms for this game also : http://www.rom-world.com/file.php?id=23032

I count 9 different roms for this game buy the two above work and will get you started.
KEEP ROM's ZIPPED (REMAINING IN THE ZIPPED FORMAT)
place the roms in the roms folder. (Example C:/mame/roms/apple.zip)
