the menu button on my monitor seems to have a problem so that it continually activates itself giving me the option of changing color and contrast on my screen. I would really like this to stop because it is disruptive and annoying does anyone know how I can fix this?

Check the monitors menu button. It may be stuck or damaged, meaning a very slight knock activates it.
