my computer crashed the other day and i reinstalled windows .when the computer started working all of the window icons internet explorer was bigger that it usaly is ? i have windows xp on my computer doese anyone now what to do ?

You need to install your video card drivers, and then change your screen resolution.

The 1st person is right but next time before going to the extreme of starting over again,all information would have been retrievable,it is a hard and long process and you need the hard drive space to do it while you run lynex from a cd and do all the work also a removable storage card helps which are cheap.

You need to change the screen resolution:
Right click on an empty space on your Desktop and then click Properties. Next, go to the Settings tab and you will see a slider bar for screen resolution...move it to the right to make the icons smaller and give you more space.

Change your resolution.

Right click on your desktop. Click Properties. Click the Settings tab, then change the Screen Resolution to a higher set of numbers like 1280x1024 depending on the size of your monitor.
Click Apply, thern OK.
