That small purple plug is called a PS/2 connector. Go to TigerDirect and do a search for "ps2 to usb" and the first 2 hits are what you want to use. I suggest going with the Sabrent one.

The colour of a plug doesn't really matter, it the shape that's important.
I'll assume that it's a small reound plug, probably a PS/2 plug. It used to be the standard for keyboards and mice, but everything is USB these days...
So yeah, any good computer store should be able to help you out. Take your keyboard down to make sure you get the right thing.

You would in my opinion, be best to buy a USB keyboard. These can be picked up from any electrical retailer for around £10!
The time you buy a connector and pay postage you would not get it cheaper anyway, USb is also future proof, and easier to connect.

Any store that sells computer parts or electronics should have a USB to keyboard adaptor, or MO from Maplins.

Don't buy an adapter. Treat yourself to a nice new USB keyboard instead. Probably cost about the same.

You can go to any computer parts store and purchase an adapter. Very cheap. PS/2 to USB I believe is what it's called.

I think you should just Google search, 'usb to keyboard connector' or 'usb to ps/2'
There are plenty of places.
