I am using this accountng software on my laptop, and most options (like generate reports) are not available without a printer - not even the preview options. On another computer with a printer, however, it allows me not only to print, but also preview and manipulate the data on my reports before printing, which is the option I'd like to have available on my laptop. The same happens when I try to preview a document in Excel - it gives me a "no printer installed" error message. Basically, I want to have the preview options available on my applications - is this possible without a printer? Can I install a printer without actually having a printer, like a quasi printer?

i just can't wake up from my chair to do something else. it's such fun browsing. i already know too much of it, but a curiosity to know something more always. how can i at least plan my computer timings. i just sit without purpose and start to do something on it. what to do?

Hi guys.

I have a laptop turion but only 2 USB ports. My internet connection is through cable broadband.

My question is: Is it possible to have a wireless router and connect all my USB devices to it?

I want the freedom of moving the laptop around the house. But connect devices like mouse and printer to the router.

I noticed that the wireless routers have additional ethernet ports but what I need is additional USB ports.

Can anyone help?

I've tried looking at the 'Devices' on the control panel, and have got the name of the card from there, however a search on google suggests that the card is supplied with a range of different memory amounts.

I have an IBM thinkpad T42 that I purchased in the US. When I moved to the UK, I simply attach a converter and plug into UK outlets. After a few weeks, my battery performance seems to have dramatically gone down. Should I purchase a UK adaptor rather than use my US adapter/converter combo (or is this a different problem altogether)?

Have found Norton to be slowing PC with all these new features. Has anyone had the same problem and is it easy to remove Norton and replace it with Mcafee.
