click start, run, and type in DXDIAG and it will tell you. This is the direct x diagnosis, and has full system report on it.

If it's a separate graphics card then it will tell you on the first screen when you boot up the PC.
Or, click on start, all programmes then accessories then system tools then system information once in there on the left hand side click on the plus sign next to components then click display (in the list) adaptor ram on the right hand side, this will tell you what you need to know.

Start-> Run -> Type "dxdiag"-> Ok
If a dialog box appear to you... Press No..
Click on the "Display" tab...
You'll find the graphics card memory beside... "Approx. Total Memory"...

this is quite easy...go to control panel>display properties>settings>advanced>adapter>this will give you all the info you need including graphics memory,ramdac,bios string,and memory speed

DX Diagnostics will tell your adapter's approx. total memory, just do what others say Start - Run - "dxdiag" - Display tab.
