you can get printers that operate from the network. you'd need to make sure it was a network printer when you bought it or get another PC to use as a Printer hub, for the mouse, that cant be done through the network card, but a bluetooth mouse will be easy to get hold of.

I use a Linksys usb wireless network adapter high speed up to 11 meg per second, all i do is find the hot spot and just go on line. It will pick any router within the distance off 100m indoors and up to 500m out doors i have no trouble at all with mine ,i use it on desktop and laptop also to help you find a hot spot you could try a Kensington WiFi finder model No 33063 ..Regarding extra usb ports all you do there is buy an expander usb device hope this helps you.

If you jst want more USB port they buy one USB hub. You can connect USB device on a single USB hub.
The other thing you wanna is wireless for internet connection using cable broadband. Buy a wireless router which support for USB broadband connection and connect it.

No probs, but you'll need to buy a dsl router NOT ADSL ok.
I would recommend the netgear rangemax and i comes with a free wireless reciever too!
just plug your cable modem into the dsl modem and the reciever into your laptop and you're pretty much done.
AS far as needing more usb ports you're gonna need a hub.
Loads available and cheep as chips but you'll have to have a powered unit so a power socket will have to be close to wherever you sit ok.
As far as i'm aware there is no wireless option.
your best bet here would be to buy a £50 pc from wherever and network them to print etc.

For about £10.00 you can buy a multi USB fitting - One to Three or even Four connection ports. Almost all Computer shops will sell then. Just plug in and away you go! Good Luck.
