IF you have received any lottery email then it's very likely it's a scam. Many countries do have national lotteries and are bona fide organisations/lotteries... unfortunately anyone can claim to be representatives/agents of lotteries on the internet.

Just don't give out any of your personal information on the internet... even if they say you have won millions of dollars. Lottery boards DO NOT conduct their operations via the internet. And no banks in the world use the internet to correspond with customers.

If you did not enter the particular lottery, it is a scam. I have been spammed by these lotteries for over 10 years now and have not entered one on them.

If you receive something like that, assume it is a scam and do not respond.
