A service of my server distributes data, that can be seen using: telnet ip port [enter].

Is there any possibility to save the "answer" in a file? I would like to do it on a windows machine.
(something like redirection...)

Why is it that some web pages don't allow you to click BACK and return to the page you were previously on, you click back at it just reloads the same page, it pisses me off. I though it was a ploy to try to get you to stay or get more clicks for the site but i've noticed that even reputable pages like wikipedia do it. Any insider knowledge out there?

Human error... my error caused the malfunction. I fear i may have permanently damaged it beyond repair.

The problem is: when i insert the flash drive, it is detected by the computer, so i have to use the safe means of removing the device.

However, if i wish to access files on the flash drive, the coputer says insert disk in e:\. It's there. It's as if in one way the computer knows it is there, but it is effectively invisible if i wish to access files.

How did it happen? I inserted the flash drive in a pc, the pc said it could not read it, so could i use c:\ something, dll, i think, to read it. since then... problem!

The email came from serv@megaman.com. I have no idea of its authenticity as it did not come from yahoo team. It said the file is to prevent my computer from sending worm copies to other computers and to restore my computer by eliminating the virus.

I suffer from eye strain, probably beacuse I spend so much time in front of a monitor, and am now looking for a quality LCD monitor. I've had my eyes tested and have perfect vision so can't get glasses.

My current LG monitor has native resolution of 1280 x 1024, but I find the character size to be too small and after a few hours find my eyes are getting red. At 1024 x 768 everything looks fuzzy and no where near as crisp and sharp as 1280 x 1024.

What I'm looking for is a 19"+ LCD with a native resolution of around 1024 x 768 that doesn't look fuzzy. My budget is £800 or less.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

I work for a cash strapped charity, we don't have a digital camera, I cannot download ANYTHING from the internet. Only point to and save images as a bitmap.

I am looking for help from anyone who could advise a website where I can copy photographs.

The charity is for people who suffer from mental health problems and I am finding it difficult to get suitable photographs (eg post natal depression, suicide, etc) - obviously I cannot TAKE photographs in this instance (even if I did have a digital camera!).

I transfered an email picture to my own folder and it has knocked out my desktop picture and messeger icon I'm unable to use it right now and the picture has completly taken over everything. I have 512 Mb of RAM memory! I would like to upgrade it with another card of 512Mb (together it will be 1Gb - for games, everybody told me that I should do that) but I don't know will every memory card (DDR,DDR2, 533MHz) work on my computer? On SiSoftware Sandra says "Total memory: 512Mb DDR-SDRAM?" Help anyone?

My laptop is a Windows XP, but for some reason I don't have Word.
I have notepad and WordPad. >_>

Neither of these programs are too great.
I Googled Microsoft Word, and got a billion links.
