how in the hell can you network 2 computers on a speedtouch536 modem?

i have the cross over cable i tried to go through the usb port which worked on one then i went to the network wizzard and it never worked if anyone knows this please giz a buzz on messenger jazzablk_the_2nd telstra is the isp

Best way to do it is to spend the 50 bucks and buy a router.

You might be able to connect a hub or switch to it, and then connect the two computers to the switch.
