Elevator Card Trick

Effect:

The top card of the deck is turned face up to the audience.

The card is once again turned face down and removed from the deck.

The magician now places this card into the middle of the deck and then squares the deck

The magician clicks his fingers and the card returns immediately to the top of the deck.

Preparation:

You will need a deck of cards .

Method:

This trick uses the principle of the double lift

When showing the top card actually perform a double lift and show the card that was really second from the top of the pack.

Then remove the actual top card and place it into the middle of the deck.

The already shown card is still on the top of the deck and can be revealed in any way that the magician wishes.

Make sure that the double lift is clean and bend the cards slightly to ensure that they stay together as one


Effect: A coin is placed onto the table and it vanishes.

Method: Put the coin onto the table with your left hand.

Say something like "check this out" and reach over with your right hand.

Then press down on the coin with your middle, index and third finger with your hand and arm parallel with the table.

Slide the coin towards you remembering that it should be completely covered up.

Slide the coin off the table so it falls on your lap without the spectator seeing.

Touch your thumb to your middle finger as if you are picking up the coin as it reaches the edge of the table.

Keeping your fingers still closed, stare at where the coin should be as you slowly move your hand away from you back to about 6 inches from where the coin originally was.

Start moving your thumb in a circular motion as if the coin is disappearing.

Slowly turn your hand around and spread your fingers apart.

Now the rest is up to you.

The more surprised you act the more people will believe that they have seen a real coin vanish



Beer Bottle Magic Trick
Make A Bottle Stick To A Wall
WARNING THIS TRICK MIGHT WIN YOU SEVERAL BEERS!!!
This bar trick should be practiced, it is definitely not for amateurs!!

It is always best to take care and have consideration for the establishment you are in.

Remember if you are not at home, you are a guest. Bars owners can get upset because they are always fussy about scratching up their expensively decorated walls.

Have enough courtesy and respect to at least put a rubbish bin underneath the bottle to try to catch it.

(NOTE: There's no guarantee the rubbish bin will catch it either) because it will not stick more than few seconds or minutes. This trick should be done in an area where there is a soft floor covering.

REMEMBER: This bar trick will not work on all wall surfaces. DRY-WALL is generally a good surface (but not always). This bar trick has been known to work on some other surfaces to.

THE BOTTLE WILL ONLY STICK FOR A FEW SECONDS OR MINUTES!!

If the bottle breaks or you scratch up expensive wall paneling, this trick it is also a great way to get thrown out of your favourite bar on your ***!!! Be careful!!!


GOAL: To freak people out by sticking a bottle to a wall without glue or bubble gum.

MATERIALS: One EMPTY beer bottle and a wall made of DRY-WALL ( No stupid!! Not a "dry wall" but a wall "MADE of DRY-WALL")

HOW ITS DONE:

Walk over to a corner, place the empty beer bottle in the corner making sure that each wall is flush with the bottle.

Gently rub the bottle in an up and down motion with VERY VERY short strokes. (The bottle should not move more than 3cm in either direction)

Friction will cause the bottle to move in even shorter movements, when the bottle doesn't move in either direction, let go GENTLY
