1. Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
2. Create a new DWORD value and name it NoLowDiskSpaceChecks
3. Right-click on this newly created value and click on Modify
4. Enter 1 in the Value data field and click on OK

right click on start button go to properties
and then taskbar and then customize
there in the current item click it on always hide next time you would not see the low disk space symbol

i don't know how to turn off the symbol, but you can free up space easily enough.

run disk cleanup and check every box. delete or burn old pictures and files. uninstall unused programs. this will give you tons of space im sure.

You can't turn it off, delete some stuff you don't need or get a bigger hard drive.
