ok so my i have 2 harddrives on my computer a 20 gb and a 200gb now i had to partiton the 200gb hard drive and have one read 119gb and 69 gb i know that doesnt add up to 200gb and i have no idea where that extra gigs are but anywho thats not the problem... a few months ago the 119 gb harddrive dissapeared its not being read on my computer but the other half of it, the 69 gb one, is totally fine... its the same harddrive what the hell why wont my computer read it ive asked around and no one can help me... id like to retrive it back since i have soo many videos i was editing on that harddrive and id hate to see all my work go to waste... i dont wanna take it in some where cause i have no money... anyone have any advise? or can help me out with this problem?

my pc is 3 years old. i hav an onboard graphics accelerator which came along with the mainboard. the gameplay is really pathetic. so i wld like to install a graphics card. i can't get a PCI express, cause my PC doesn't support. can I get a PCI card????

I have the Speedsystem modem given to me from SBC and a Linksys router. My wireless card is built into my Dell laptop.

It seems that every Sunday or so my wireless connection gets dropped. The only way to get it back up and running is to unplug the router, reattach the ethernet cable back to the laptop then replug in the power cord to the router. Sometimes I must reboot the modem to get a wireless signal.

I could be on it one minute and off of it the next. Also Ive noticed that my speed drops also from 54.0 to 1 back to 54.0.

I am currently using, the completely bottom of the line ATi Radeon 9550. The sad bare minimum of minimums in graphic processing standards. Its about 4 years old now, doesn't even have a GPU lol

Anyway, I'm looking at the ATi Radeon 512MB X1900XT because I want the best graphics card (though the XTX is a tweak better, value for money is with XT) and I think I deserve it having have collected the money and living with this 9550 junk for an eternity by computing standards. =)

However, my burning question is, is now a good time? ATi Radeon is currently developing their new R600 line of cards scheduled for a Q4, Q1 or Q2 release. Though it is still DirectX 9, these cards are as revolutionary in design and capacity as the Core 2 Duo is compared to Pentium chips.

Ofcourse, there is the future DirectX 10 cards which I have yet to see/hear even rumours of development...then again, not sure if I would even want to use Windows Vista or not =( Help people...? lol

click on a yahoo question to answer, in a new window,the box is so small, and I'm tired of keep on expanding the window. How did this happen, how do I fix it, & how do I keep it from occuring in the future?

The link that I open in a new window is still very small. I have to keep clicking on the middle box so I can make the window large to see what the questions/answers are. I didn't have to do this the other day...it just started happening, and is driving me nuts.

How do I make a C program that solves a system of three linear equations with three unknowns using determinant of the third order(3*3). Be guided by the following:
1. Use two dimensional arrays in programs.
2. Prompt the user for the input of numerical coefficients and constants of the three equations.
3. The program must contain at least three functions(not including main):
a. A function that computes;
b. A function that displays the matrices; and

My uncle's family left for another city for a couple of weeks, leaving the children (13 and15 year old boys) with us. They both computers with them and begged me to connect them to the Internet which I did. Now they want it connected all the time so that they can go browsing till very late at night. When I first ask them to stop, they said 'no' and now both get very angry. I disconnect the cable which they found out and fix it by themselves.
I don't use a server but running all on XP Pro. Is there a program which controls networks (individual computers) to stop automatically? I need something automatic so that they can see I'm not touching anything. Otherwise, whenever I go near my computer, they think that I'm trying to cut them off the Net?
Please, I need some concentrated help on this!!!

I have a Sony Vaio laptop, and I am currently trying to fix my fairly old Dell desktop to have a second computer in the house. Every time I start the computer up an alert comes up in the bottom right hand corner saying "Windows has detected your computer is infected with spyware, please click here to learn how to protect your computer". So I click on it, and nothing happens. I click off on the alert and it pops up 30 seconds later saying the same thing. I can't right click it to close it, and I already went through the security center to try and disable alerts, but this still comes up!! I've already scanned and protected my computer with McAfee, so thats not the problem. I'm about to throw this thing out the window, so if any of you guys have any idea how to get rid of this blasted alert, PLEASE let me know! Thanks!!

My system was built in fall of 2001. BIOS is version A09. I see no settings in BIOS to change the clock speed at all.
