When using AVG anti-virus and it detects a Virus it gives you three options, To Heal, To Delete, or To Quarantine, whats the difference, why doesnt it just say "get rid of it"??

I need to buy th least expensive computer I can get without buying garbage. The one I have now I paid $1200 about six years ago. I can't spend that, or close, now. What is the cheapest and best brand I can get that would not be worse than the one I have, please don't laugh, I need help.

How do i get my address toolbar to full length because as it is now its only like 2 inches long. Please help me. I also need to know how to get the things that are next to it off. It says Find it,references,highlight,0 blocked,screensavers.com,games,and smilyes. how do i get this off.

I recently updated from Windows Update to MS Update to get all the needed updates in one place. I had a small glitch where I could not close out of the MS Update Site Window after the update was completed. (IE foze on me.) My system is spyware/virus free and runs great. Could this be an issue with the site? Has anyone else had this issue when converting from Windows Update to MS Update? What's the difference between Windows Update and MS Update? BTW I have my updates set to automatic.

I'm going out today to buy a cheap-*** notebook, which I've never had before. My husband and I also have three desktop computers between the two of us.

Is there a router that can handle both wireless needs and our desktop computers?

I'm taking a trip this Friday & bringing my laptop computer. It's wireless, so how do I use it while I'm at my Aunts house, if she has dial-up? I have DSL, but don't you have to pay for a seperate wireless plan to be able to use away from home and on the road? Can Someone please explain to me how this works? Thanks!

It keeps buzzing, everytime I start it up, and it never starts up correctly. I've had this problem before, and have been able to fix it. However, I'm not sure now if it is the hard disk itself or the CPU fan or other cooling fans. It is a laptop, if that make a difference. I have a Microsoft Access table with three fields: First, Last and Full. In all rows where Last = "Smith" I want to write the contents of First and Last (separated by a space) in Full.
