ok yah hi all of a sudden in my computer when i try to double click on both drives the serach page opens. its very annoying. adn i tried doing registry things buti didnt hel at al. so what im trying to say is on the context menu how do i make open the first acttion instead od serach?

My husband is an educator and I am a photographer. We need to be able to give our clients access to their courses (podcasts) and sessions (photocasts) without letting the world be able to view them. However, we need to them to be accessible via the internet; most of our clients do not have Macs.

Basically, we need someone to be able to go to our .Mac website, click on a link for their particular podcast or photocast, and enter a password to be able to view it. How is this possible without password protecting the entire site?

I am more than competant on PCs, however, I am BRAND new to Macs, so detailed information would be very helpful as I am new to all of this.

I want to check a box of unlabeled floppy disk,some are used and some are not, do I just put it in the slot, I don't want to install whatever's on them. I usually label those things but goof there.

I need to my date my bios on my Think pad 570 I do have a cdrom but!!! I cant change the bios to make it boot from start. I need a way to update my bios without using my CDrom (removable Memorex) this bios update will fix a lot of problems I am having any help would be nice!!!!

I am trying to do a genealogy book on DVD. There will be several text pages and a lot of pictures. I would like to have music playing in the background. I also would like to have a menu that will point to each chapter of the book and link page 1 to page 2 and so on.

I have a Dell Dimension 8400 that came with Windows XP Home edition. I have a SATA hard drive and no floppy drive. When I load windows XP Pro it doesnt have any default drivers for a SATA controller so it doenst think my pc has any hard drives on it and aborts the installation. I dont have a floppy drive that i can use to load the SATA dfrivers when it asks if you have any drivers ou want to load from floppy. Anyone have any ideas how I can do this?

Why is using all capital letters when writing on a computer considered rude? Someone says it means you are shouting at the receiver. I say is someone's mind so small that they feel someone is shouting when they receive a letter with all caps. Do they ever think about those of us that use the hunt and peck sysyem and have arthritis that causes pain by putting in caps.If I am yelling at someone they should be able to tell by the wording I use
