I want to check a box of unlabeled floppy disk,some are used and some are not, do I just put it in the slot, I don't want to install whatever's on them. I usually label those things but goof there.

Pop it in, click on my computer, click on 3.5 floppy drive, it will not only tell you what if anything is on it, it will also tell you how much space is used. BTW, floppys are now out-dated. Most people now use CD-R's...

You put the floppy in and click a drive in my computer

1. Insert it into the disk drive
2. Type run

This should let you know what's on the disk

YOu should check them by your floppy driver, just this.
