I tried a lot thru CPAN to extract text from pdf .but the result was only junks.can any one pls help me how to extract the text from pdf

the loading % should be shown and also i don want it to load automatically when the pages is being load coz it takes lot of time
i want it to be loaded when the users click that

you know youtube.com they help me to this in case of movie files but they don allow flash files so .....................................

I have just reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled everything I had on before and nothing else. However, I'm finding, in the root directory, sqm files that were never there before. They are sqmdata00.sqm and sqmnoopt00.sqm. Everytime I turn on my computer there are more of them. The 00 on the new files become 01, 02 etc with each new start of my computer. They are only visible with the folder settings set to show hidden folders. What are these files? Where do they come from and how can I stop them cluttering my hard drive short of manually deleting them all the time? I have this nightmare of my hard drive eventually becoming full of these 1 KB files.

I have a problem with the windows xp. I can’t go to Windows. I know how to do to Dos when the computer boot up , but I don’t know the commands to recover my files in my hard disk. I want to copy the files documents and photos folder in the hard disk to a CD?
can I do it from Dos If can what are the commands ?

I live in my cuz place who does not have a landline so I guess I have to use a mobile phone. My current one don't have a GPRS so I have to buy a new one. What is cheapest and best model and what features that the phone needs to connect internet to my laptop. Without phone lines I cant get internet connection to my laptop right? I need internet connection badly as I do long hours of assignments at night.
