A Little Poem Regarding Computer Spell Checkers...

Eye halve a spelling chequer
It came with my pea sea
It plainly marques four my revue
Miss steaks eye kin knot sea.

Eye strike a key and type a word
And weight four it two say
Weather eye am wrong oar write
It shows me strait a weigh.

As soon as a mist ache is maid
It nose bee fore two long
And eye can put the error rite
Its rare lea ever wrong.

Eye have run this poem threw it
I am shore your pleased two no
Its letter perfect awl the weigh
My chequer tolled me sew.

I'll tell you what I do: write my document in MS Word and spell check it using the Word spell checker. I save the document and then open it and spell check it with the Open Office word processor. (Open Office is available free online. It can read and write to Word documents.) Open Office sometimes picks up errors that Word misses. So, if you're not finding any spelling mistakes you should try another spell checker.

yeah but there's a reason for that. you probably already clicked the spell checker and found the mistakes, corrected them then re-clicked the spell checker so it couldnt find the mistakes made. does that make sense?..

No, I always think that the spell check is wrong and worries me more, I rather have a couple of words wrong. Call me paranoid if you wish.

It's usually stuck on US English which is full of incorrect spellings anyway. Best to pay attention in school and learn most of what you need there.

Yes, but don't always believe the one on Yahoo - viz , type in o f f e n s i v e without the spaces (meaning 'to give offense') and see what shite you get!

yeah, and then you print it and read it and realize you put where instead of wear, and to instead of too, things likke that. but on school papers, it always found a mistake - like i can't spell my own name!
