...and threatening to 'shut-down' my computer if I don't keep clicking 're-start later'?
It means - if I leave the computer for a few minutes, it could shut down while I'm gone.
This is NEW, within the last 2-3 weeks.
HELP! Its driving me nuts?
Looks like its a 'Windows' pop-up.
It says "your computer hasn't been re-started since last updates..." and it even said this the minute I started up?

Can't cancel an AOL free trial that came with my new notebook. I have called, faxed, emailed and yet nothing. I know they just paid a large sum of money in a law suit they lost for not allowing customers the right to cancel.
Just lloking for a way to cancel my subscription.

I am trying to boot Solaris 10 OS CD to install it, but it cann't be read and system is loading Windows. When I downloaded the installation of Solaris it was in .iso format, I extracted it with Winzip and burned on CD with nero. Can you tell me why it cann't be read when I start my PC, in BOIS everything is configured corectlly, CD is set as number one bootable device

my sister has recently lost her husband to cancer and is constantly having to answer phonecalls for him because his business details are posted on the web .
obviously this is very upsetting for her but she cannot change her number because distant freinds and family are still contacting her .
the sites that hold the details cannot be contacted .
BT help cannot help (as usual)
yahoo refuses to respond
what else can i do ?
any advise would be gratefully appreciated .
